Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that payments and invoices for freight and related shipping are processed accurately, on schedule, and in compliance with agreed-upon procedures and service standards. This will necessitate data validation in the business and financial systems.
- Ascertain that daily payment predictions are sent out on time.
- Ascertain that period-end processes are done appropriately and within timeframes.
- Ensure that payments are processed on a daily basis in compliance with settlement processing rules and procedures by coordinating payment proposal activities for the section.
- Ascertain that daily tasks are completed in accordance with service standards and KPIs.
- Maintain suitable and effective processes and procedures, recognizing areas for improvement and ensuring continuing SOX compliance.
- Within this role, strictly adhere to all required controls.
- As needed, perform ad hoc tasks
