Project Engineer (Mechanical):

First Class (60%) in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg.(4 years) / Integrated M.E. / M.Tech. course or equivalent from an approved Institute / University

Disciplines: Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial and Production Engineering/Mechanical Production and Tool Engineering/Production Engineering/Production Technology Manufacturing Engineering/Production and Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Technology/Aerospace Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering

Should have a minimum one-year post post-qualification experience in

Component Manufacturing / Assembly of systems & sub-systems / Quality Assurance processes such as Qualification and screening procedures for various Requirements, Inspection processes, Co-ordination with Customers for Inspection Offering and clearances, etc..

Experience in Microsoft Office Tools-based drafting for documentation / Exposure in ERP-SAP modules will be an added advantage.

Desirable: CAD Software Proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD CATIA MATLAB), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Material Science and Selection, Manufacturing Processes, 3D Modeling and Simulation, Product Development, Machine Design, Mechanical Testing and Analysis, Robotics and Automation, Stress Analysis, Project Management, Technical Documentation, Quality Control and Assurance, Regulatory Compliance (e.g., ASME, ISO), Manufacturing Principles in Engineering

Radio Frequency (RF) subsystems / Embedded Systems / Digital signal processing / Image Processing / Power Electronics Design / Assembly / Testing / Using Test Instruments like Network Analyzer/spectrum analyzer / Signal generations / RF Power meters / Quality Assurance processes such as Qualification and Screening Procedures for various Inspection processes, Coordination with Customers for Inspection Offering & Clearances.

Experience in Microsoft Office Tools-based drafting for documentation / Exposure in ERP-SAP modules will be an added advantage.

Desirable: Experience in Embedded systems, Analog and digital electronics, RF, Power Electronics, schematic /troubleshooting knowledge, system design, LabVIEW, Control Systems., FPGA, Test Procedures and data Acquisition, C, C++ VC++ & software development knowledge

Project Engineer (Electrical):

First Class (60%) in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg. (4 years) / Integrated M.E. / M.Tech. course or equivalent from AICTE approved Institute / University

Disciplines: Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering

Should have minimum one-year post qualification experience in

Operation / Cabling work, Control Panels, Understanding of Electrical Drawings, measurements, and billings.

Quality Assurance processes such as Qualification and Screening Procedures for various Inspection processes, Co-ordination with Customers for Inspection Offering & Clearances etc. will be an added advantage.

Experience in Microsoft Office Tools based drafting for documentation / Exposure in ERP-SAP modules will be an added advantage.

Project Engineer (Computer Science):

First Class (60%) in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg. (4 years) / Integrated M.E. / M.Tech. course or equivalent from AICTE approved Institute / University

Discipline: Computer Science Engineering

Should have minimum one-year post qualification experience in

Software development in C++, JAVA, PYTHON, QT and PLSQL, and Database Programming. Artificial Intelligence / Big Data Analytics Technologies, etc. Desirable: Experience in developing Application Software for various weapon systems using several programming tools and testing using Programming / Development Tools: FPGA/VHDL, C, C++, VC++, PYTHON, ADA, HILLSdSPACE National Instruments (NI) VeriStand, ETAS LABCAR, Opal RTMEGAsimVectorCAST/Probe. Software testing tools knowledge: LDRA, POLYSPACE, DO178STDS, OPEL RT (RT LAB)

Age Limit(As on 16 September 2023): 28 Years

Age Relaxation:

The maximum age limit is relaxed by 05 years for SC & ST,

03 years for OBC-NCL,

05 years for PwBD (UR),

08 years for PwBD (OBC-NCL) and

10 years for PwBD (SC/ST)

Maximum age relaxation by 05 years is applicable for Ex-Servicemen and commissioned Officers (including ECOs / SSCOs) subject to rendering a minimum 05 years of service in the Armed Forces and fulfillment of other conditions prescribed by Govt. of India.

The maximum age limit is relaxed by 05 years for candidates who are ordinarily been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989 on submission of domicile certificate.

BDL Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:

Candidates who fulfill all the requisite parameters and Qualification Requirements (QRs) will be shortlisted for an Interview.

Shortlisting of candidates for interviews will be based on the initial screening of applications.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for a further selection process i.e., an Interview.

Selection Criteria:

Aggregate Marks / Percentage secured in the Qualification in the relevant discipline. For each percentage of Qualification will allocate 01 mark. However, the Maximum marks will be allotted is 75 only

Relevant Post Qualification experience – Allocation of Marks 01 year – 03 Marks, 02 Years – 06 Marks, >=03 Years – 10 Marks

Interview Marks – 15 Marks

Total: 100 Marks

Selection will be based on order of merit.
