What's this role about?

Reporting to the Oracle Integration Architect, the position will assist in the full systems life cycle and be responsible for design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support for the corporation’s SOA Middleware Integration and EDI enterprise application systems. The candidate will be expected to collaborate with the Functional team members in North America, Europe, and Asia to ensure that corporate business requirements are met technically and that solutions meet our Middleware and Custom Development programming standards.

The position will develop and support activities in the area of B2B (EDI) using Oracle Fusion Middleware Suite which accounts for $350 million worth of transactions for the organization. 

The ideal candidate will be able to develop B2B (EDI) electronic transactions primarily in X12 and XML documents and be able to work with internal and external business teams to define requirements, and test and maintain existing code to company standards.

The candidate needs to have working knowledge of Sterling Commerce B2B integrator and be able to communicate our requirements with Sterling Commerce personnel.

This role will also require the candidate to communicate with our internal Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable personnel to answer day-to-day inquiries.

The candidate will need to be able to develop services that integrate on-premise SOA middleware, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with back-end applications and other web services.

       Core Skills:

Working knowledge of Oracle SOA suite version 12.2 with b2b, MFT, OSB, OIC  and SOA Suite applications.

Knowledge of X12 EDI 850, 810, 867, and 856 document types is mandatory.

Knowledge of basic networking protocols like FTP, SFTP, JMS and SSL is required.

Hands-on experience with Linux OS and scripting are required.

BPEL programming, XSLT transformations, and JDeveloper experience are required.

Knowledge of Oracle Database RDBMS version 19c and Oracle EBS R12 is a plus.

Knowledge of the Order to Cash business process is a plus.

Ability to understand when and how to escalate issues up the chain of command.

Possess excellent communication skills, and ability to interface with the business and remote IT functions.

Experience with working in a FDA-regulated/compliant environment, a PLUS!
