Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Process Design & Development :
- As a custodian of Own Brands portfolio’s quality delivery, design & develop a complete Quality Assurance and Quality Control process for Private Label portfolio.
- Build a framework for conducting regular 3rd party facility audits, production batch audits and product approvals to ensure the quality consistency delivery.
- Support the Product team in all product development procedures & product approvals through a process maintaining neutrality.
- Process Implementation and Optimization :
- Ensure that all food safety, process quality related and non-compliance issues are investigated and that corrective measures are implemented and adhered to.
- Implement & ensure 100% end-to-end process compliance for all products approved for launch under the portfolio.
- Maintain and track quality complaints for the portfolio of products and conduct RCAs and CAPAs for continuous performance improvement.
- Manage, train and develop a team of Quality Assurance & Quality Control people with presence across the 4 operating regions for prompt and cost effective quality monitoring, response and management system.
- Ensure allocation of resources for quality work in both Quality Assurance and Quality control functions through a robust mechanism to maintain a balanced approach to scrutiny.
- Documentation & Review
- Develop, manage & update the specification and recipe/formulation database for raw material (for staples) and finished products (all processed products) for the entire portfolio of private label products.
- Continuously review the process to make it more effective and optimize monitoring & cost.
- Maintain and manage the control sample inventory to review any complaints.
- Build a network of external labs for product testing on a cyclic basis.
