BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Proficient in embedded software development using C, C++
- Proficient in implementing embedded software ranging from high-level applications to low-level hardware device drivers.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Familiarity with diverse 8/ 16/32 bit microcontroller families
- Good understanding of key peripherals including USB, Ethernet, DDR, PCIe, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, I2S
- Experience with all phases of development, including design, implementation, and operation of production systems
- Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
- Experience taking a lead role in developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered to customers.
