Java Developer
Roles and Responsibilities:
To meet business process and application needs, design, implement, and configure applications.
Technical Skills:
• Working knowledge of Java/JEE development.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, as well as knowledge of corporate software design patterns, data structures, and multi-threading.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience designing and developing microservices in Java/Spring Boot is required.
• Hands-on experience with API development and REST services. • 1-2 years of relevant experience with API principles and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, and Swagger.
• Demonstrated experience creating Web Services based on Java EE standards like JAX RPC or JAX-WS.
• Extensive knowledge of XML and XML namespaces. WSDL knowledge is essential.
• Solid knowledge of JMS and hands-on experience with both asynchronous and synchronous interfaces.
• Knowledge of DevOps ideas as well as experience with Maven, Jenkins, and Junit.
Good to have:
• Working understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
• Practical knowledge with Apache Kafka.
